Well, thats what i want to post about fr today. Think about it. Are we robots, or humans? U might be thinking, why on earth am i writing about this?
First, let me tell u whats going on in my school now!
SCENE 1
students come to Anglo Chinese School (Barker Road) at 7.45. After assembly, they go fr a one hour period of lesson and next up, is the best period of the day... RECESS!! i mean... lets think about it fr a moment, those who go to school to have their breakfast really suffer.... WHO EATS BREAKFAST AND THEN GO TO SCHOOL, AND AFTER ONE HOUR, GO BACK TO EAT BREAKFAST PART #2!!! LIKE WHAT ON EARTH!??!
and fr thursday.... PRAISE GOD!! :) cuz u know why?!?! after assembly, we have recess!! AHHAHAA!! HOW AMAZING IS THAT?!?!? LIKE NOT AT ALL??
SCENE 2
Lessons are one hour fr every subject, and they have changed school timings frm 2.15 to 2.30
which makes no use really, because the teachers always delay until 2.30! but now they extend it to 2.30... so... now teachers delay until...2.40?!?! hahaa... now on to a more serious issue
- Betram. one of my friends. He has been in my class last year and currently he's in my class. Betram is really a great student! always listening to the teachers, i never did see him slacking or sleeping at all. But here's something new. Last week, fr the first time i saw him sleeping in class.
Not because he was sick, i saw him sick many times before. But never once did he sleep in class.
How did this happen?
Well, let me tell u the answer! Right now, my school hours are too long. Lessons are too long and draggy. Schools up to 1pm have double recess each recesses having a 3o minute period. But fr my school... we have lessons up till 2.30. And we only have one 30 minute recess...
By the time we buy our food sit down to eat, we only have 5 minutes to gobble down our food.
In school nowadays, i get so angry with the school system i will juz get pissed off fr no reason. Everyone's suffering in my school the timetable is really messed up. And why am i pissed off? Because i found out one thing from my brother william. Whats going on in acsi? Students are literally students. At 2am in the morning, ppl are thinking u shld be sleeping! But guess what these amazing robots are doing? THEY ARE MUGGING. Not by their own will, but because they have to. No computer games, No fun. No going out. People are getting stressed and they are really tired. Wads making me so angry? My school's making the barker students like the acsi students. They think a students lives are after school and thats it. But the fact is that we all have our individual commitments! Some more than others... but they all don't understand! People are breaking down from the stress! It gets so bad that whenever i look at the class, i'm so tempted to get a piece of paper and go to every class to sign a petition.
they tell us, You must study fr your own good. Is it fr our good or their good? Schools earn a better reputation when their students do well, tell me, is it our good or their good? Principals earn more when students do well. Tell me, is it our good or their good? Yes we may succeed in career if we do well. But who says that doing well in your studies will assure you a well paid job in society? Who dares to say that you wont do well in society if u don't study hard?
Tell me, isit what man says or God says that matters? If God says i'm gonna succeed in life. Who dares go against Him? I am not what others say about me. I am what God says about me. Let me tell u something, yr childhood is a person's best time in his/ her life. Lets live it well, live it fun and live it fr Jesus! :)
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
