Hey you, my God died for u.
He was worth only 30 silver pieces alright?
Humbled himself to the very end, from a King to a servant.
Born in a barnyard, died for all of us, the worst kind of death. A Crucifixion.

All so that you would come. He went through the worst types of suffering, to sympathise with brokeness, loneliness, rejection, pain, suffering and temptation. He was so lonely to the point that the person He loved so much, the person He had relied on for strength so much couldnt even embrace Him. Darkness could not comprehend the light, Jesus took upon our sin, that God turned away from His own Son.

Matthew 27:46

⁴⁶ And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?”

Jesus loved His enemies so much so that even when He was captured, He spared His betrayers. If u placed yourself in His shoes, will u succumb to anger? Bitterness? We surely will. But He didnt.

Matthew 26:53-54

⁵³ Or do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father, and He will provide Me with more than twelve legions of angels?

⁵⁴ How then could the Scriptures be fulfilled, that it must happen thus?”

We could never sympathise with how Jesus felt. But we can certainly embrace Him with everything we have.. I love You Jesus :)
