Feed my sheep

Its currently 2.38am.. Daddy went to bed, even he's tired.. and tmr i got tuition at 10am
Haiz... Was unable to finish all my homework.. let alone my biology homework... 2mindmaps left.

Haiz, What time am i gonna sleep today.. i'm guessing 4am? darn.. i really gotta rest. But then again, I'm relying on God's strength. So daily, as my physical body is getting weaker, is deteriorating, my spirit man is becoming fresher and fresher and stronger each day :)
Read this parable again! And wow.. what a reminder from God :)
15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”
16
He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?”
He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”
He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”
17
He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?”
And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.”
Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.
18
Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.”

Been studying Song of Solomon, and verse 18 speaks abt immature christians. When we were babes, we always had Jesus guiding us, and we feel great! That there was someone who loved us even before we knew Him, someone who died fr the wages of sin fr the whole world, someone who wants you to prosper, someone who provides fr your everything. But what happens when you grow older? You feel Him far away, You cry out:" God why have You forsaken me!!" And your just crying and crying and u feel that He has left you. But guess what, He has never left You. He has just simply turn away. Picture it this way, you have a dog that loves you so much! And he just wants to shower u with all the kisses that he has! And your main aim is fr him to kiss u more and more, after his first wave of kisses what do u do? Do u just stand still and let him kiss you? NO! OF COURSE NOT, HE'LL GET BORED AFTER AWHILE MAN! And eventually, he'll just stop kissing you cuz he's bored What do u do? You turn around! Why? When u turn around, your dog just gets high, and he'll just continue chasing u to kiss u more! Why u ask? Because the act of turning around does not leave the dog in a lurch, it leaves him wanting more!

I read this from the book 'God catches' Just that the author writes abt his daughter. But in this case, i write it as a pet so that all of you can sympathize with it. Not that we're dogs. But just put God in your shoes, He acts the same way! i just wanted u to know, yes it gets tiring to chase God when God turns away. But when u corner yr chase, the rewards are satisfying :) And u can be sure, that when you sidetrack, God is there to call u right back :) How? Haha, let me share again another time! I hope that i wont forget it! :)

Back to my verse, When we mature, we're no longer living for MY DESIRES, MY BLESSINGS. note that all of them have the 3 deadly selfish words? 'I', 'Me', 'Myself'. When we mature, we live for Him. 'Another will grid you, and carry you to a place you do not wish' Rest assured, God'll carry u to a place u wont like :) Away frm yr comfort zone! Haha :)

Just to leave with something.. i read a chapter frm Rick warren's 'Purpose Driven Life' And i came across something that has kept me going fr a long while. he says:" God prefers Faith rather than feeling". Yes we agree that we need to feel God's presence. But when God is testing u. And u feel all alone, He's testing you to see if you have the faith to trust in His hand when u cannot see it! Faith pleases God, and it pleases Him.. tremendously :)

I really thank God fr such a reminder, there're many people left untouched in His presence. We gotta feed them God, they're hungry. Lets go
