NOW I FEEL LIKE A GIRL, talking abt dolls and tea party! haha :) well, sorry abt the previous post! It was kinda emotional i noe, that aint my style. But nevertheless, i'm here with a revelation! Or rather an insight i gained :)

Thinking about it, I have never really known the true meaning of evangilism. Lets think about it for a minute. Does it mean bringing people to church? Showing the love of God to them? Or simply put it- just loving people?

Yes, the correct answer is obviously the last option. Jesus was the perfect example of love.
God is love. And he did show it to the people. ' People don't know how much u care until u show them'

Matthew 9:10-13
10 Now it happened, as Jesus sat at the table in the house, that behold, many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.
11
And when the Pharisees saw it, they said to His disciples, “Why does your Teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”
12 When Jesus heard that, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.
13
But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy and not sacrifice.’
For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”
Looking back at last sunday's event, It was such a successful event! But i noticed something. Ben, a new friend from leila's cell groups. Not saying that ben's is a bad person or anything. He was smoking that day, the fact that he was 15, and he smoked. Seemed to have cause some glares frm our eyes.

Ben was a nice person. Matthew told me. I could tell he was a nice person too though he had the gangster look and accent. Deep down he was a nice person. He told Matt:" You have a nice day too!" as he was leaving. Sometimes, we judge a book by its cover. Does it mean that if a person has tattoo's, ear piercing and walks in a group talking loudly. Does it mean that that person is a bad person? Does that mean that that particular person does not know follow God's principal? Then i think we are making a huge mistake.

Jesus accepted us despite our sin problem, despite all the bad habits we did. Does it mean that we are more important to God as compared to that drug addict? As compared to that smoker?
No. We have a God who loves us all equally. God tattooed us on his hand (Taken frm Pastor Kong's blog) God shows no favoritism. Why should we show favoritism to this world that we're living in then?

Its easy to talk the talk, but difficult to walk the talk. And as Christians, we are well known fr talking the talk. But not walking it.

You might think right now, "Ruiyuan i disagree with u! I love people equally and fervently!"
Then let me ask u, are u able to look at a gangster, a smoker, someone who shouts in public, smoking in a group with thugs. Are u able to look at them without a negative mindset? If not, please please i beg of u. Face the fact, place yourself in reality. Please do, if not u'll never know the true meaning of loving people. We have to remove all the negative mindsets of people, and start looking at them thru the eyes of God if we ever want to reach out to them. How? By crucifying our eyes, our flesh on the cross of Calvery.

I myself have the problem, but we have to pray and ask God fr the help to look at others, and love them for who they are not what they do. To love them as another child of God :)

Sheeps we are, interacting with other sheeps. Let us not classify them as Black sheeps or white sheeps. Lets just be sheeps! And let the Father count us one by one :) Aint that nice?! :)
